History

HydroCowl began in 1988 when Dean and Patty Davenport used their over 35 years of experience in underground water and fire sprinkler system construction to begin selling freeze and vandal-resistant enclosures for pumps, water meters, control valves and backflow preventers. After years of assembling these systems, the Davenports recognized the need for above-ground installation for safety and maintenance personnel.

Safe-T-Cover is the result of years of expertise sparking a new way forward for the waterworks industry.

Our Products

All Safe-T-Cover aluminum enclosures are ASSE Standard 1060 certified, meaning our product meets strict and exacting standards for freeze protection, structural strength, drainage, access and security. They are built to last, right here in our Tennessee facility.

In addition to the over 50 standard models we have in our product line, our enclosures are built to work with valve and pump manufacturers such as Watts, Wilkins, Ames, Febco, Apollo, Cla-Val, Tigerflow, Patterson and PremierFlow. We also provide patented slab-mounted heaters which can be installed with any of our enclosures.
