As you know, Safe-T-Cover has a plethora of ways to make our custom enclosures pleasing to the eye. I personally think the standard brushed aluminum “silver” enclosures looks glorious, but as the VP of Sales, my opinion is probably biased. Those with more discerning tastes in custom enclosures might prefer them in decorative wraps or adorned with attractive landscaping. We also offer our custom enclosures in a variety of pleasing colors.
Our colored aluminum enclosures are not painted. There is never a risk of chipping or peeling as the color is actually cooked right into the aluminum. We work with Pac-Clad®, the largest manufacturer of metal roofing material in the United States. They use a highly-technical process with polyvinylidene fluoride to color the aluminum. The coating and method were originally developed for use in abrasive environments but are ideally suited for waterworks, industrial or backflow preventer enclosures. Naturally, custom enclosures can include accessories or modifications to suit just about any situation. Like our standard enclosure kits, they can be equipped with ventilation options like fans or louvers to keep pumps or other sensitive gear cool. All Safe-T-Cover enclosures can be modified for cutouts, holes and pipe penetrations for pass-through applications.
Our enclosures are modular, so any panel can be a de facto access panel, but we also provide options on request for formal access panels and hinged doors for ease of access and servicing. We also offer alarm systems to keep you aware of any threat to equipment. And, of course, our patented slab-mounted heaters keep enclosures protected and ASSE 1060 Class I compliant from extreme winter weather.
A custom enclosure project goes from approved design, manufacture to a packed-flat shipment in two weeks, the best in lead times for the industry. Enclosure installation does not require permitting or construction teams, and an enclosure can be installed in under a day in most circumstances. One municipality that enjoys the look of their custom enclosure is Columbia County, Georgia. Their standard details in the water department require valve enclosures to be green.
