Sizing and Design

It goes without saying that a custom enclosure should be able to fit around your equipment. When the equipment in question is a 200,000 gallon water tank, that means it has to pretty big.

A client recently requested two enclosures to cover a fire water tank. One needed to be 169" x 168" x 96", the other was to be a slightly more modest 163" x 155" x 96". Our modular design allows us to machine custom aluminum enclosures in almost any size, so two eight-foot-tall monster towers are really no sweat.

Enclosure Options

In addition to their size, these enclosures needed to be mounted to the radius of the 200,000 gallon tank. The customer also requested removable access panels for routine maintenance and component replacement. Finally, these enclosures had to include a heater to protect the riser pipes and supply and return lines.

Rapid Turnaround

Since we have worked on similar applications in the past and routinely build custom aluminum enclosures, the team here in our Nashville headquarters was able to quickly produce mock-ups that addressed the client's requirements. In this case, we were able to provide a quote within a half a day, and drawings and specifications within one full day.

Customer Service

Once the client signed off on our engineers' designs and was satisfied, we got to work manufacturing their custom industrial enclosures. It took only three weeks from sign-off to on-site delivery. The customer received each enclosure packed into two large boxes with all the hardware needed for assembly. We also took the time to include pictures of the assembled enclosures, as well as detailed assembly instructions.
